Sweden – The Swedish Transport Agency is the governmental organisation responsible for the Swedish road toll system. Congestion taxes are issued in Stockholm and Gothenburg and bridge tolls are charged in Skuru, Motala and Sundsvall.

Norway – The road toll system in Norway is divided into five regions with individual toll operators; Fjellinjen, Ferde, Vegamot, Vegfinans and Bompengeselskap Nord. They act under the control and supervision by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens Vegvesen).

Ferry connections in Norway are operated by ferry operators ( These companies also operate on behalf of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. It is possible to automatically pay for ferry tickets with Epass24.

Denmark – A/S Storebælt operates the 18 km long bridge across the Great Belt (Storebælt) that links together the eastern and western parts of Denmark. Fjordforbindelsen Frederikssund is responsible to manage bridge tolls over the expressway that crosses Roskilde Fjord via Crown Princess Marys Bridge. 

France – SANEF, Société des Autoroutes du Nord et de l’Est de la France operates motorways in the North and East of France as a result of concessions given by the French Government. Its network is 1743 km long.

Portugal – Ascendi has six Portuguese road concessions and operates 672 km of motorways across the country.

These organisations have all appointed Epass24 to handle road toll charges issued, mainly to foreign registered vehicles.

In Sweden and Norway, Epass24 also provides an automatic payment solution for road user charging.
